There will be changes in public transport traffic during XI Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival
For festival guests and visitors to visit festival events, on June 9-11 an additional trolleybus route, „Central Railway Station – Daugava Stadium”, will be organized before and after the concerts and rehearsals held on the Daugava stadium. On July 11-12, trolleybus route „Central Market – Sarkandaugava – Mežaparks” will be organised before and after the concerts that will be held on the Mežaparks scene.
"Rīgas satiksme" calls on Riga residents and guests to use public transport in order to reach places where concerts will be held, because there will be significant public transport parking and traffic restrictions which will not apply to public transport.
Going to/from concerts at Daugava stadium
To deliver participants and guests of the festival to and from rehearsals and concerts that will be held at Daugava stadium, on July 9-11 extra runs will be organised shortly before and after the concerts on trolleybus route No. 5, 11, 13, and 22, bus route No. 3 and 6, as well as on trolleybus route „Central Railway Station – Daugava stadium”.
Going to/from concerts on Mežaparks stage
To deliver participants and guests of the festival to and from rehearsals and concerts that will be held on Mežaparks stage:
On July 9-10 additional runs will be organized on tram route No. 11 and bus route No. 48.
On July 11 and 12, before and after the concerts, additional runs will be organized on tram route No. 11, trolleybus route No. 3A „Central Market – Sarkandaugava – Mežaparks” and on bus route No. 9 and 48.

Additional runs after concerts
During the XI Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival, public transport on some routes will run from 1.00 a.m. on June 11 and until 2.00 a.m. on July 12 from the city centre. Additional runs will be organized so as to cover a majority of the city districts.
Extra runs will be organized on bus routes No. 2, 3, 11, combined 12/23/26 (runs across Akmens Bridge), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 50, 51 and 53, tram routes No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11, and trolleybus routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 27.

March of participants of the XI Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival
On July 12, due to the march of participants of the XI Latvian School Youth Song and Dance Festival:
- from 7:00 till the end of the march, in places where the march will pass, changes will be made in some public transport routes, including bus routes No. 1, 3, 6, 9, 14, 16, 20, 21, 40 and 50, trolleybus routes No. 12, 14, 17, 25, as well as minibus route No. 206;
- from 8:45 till the end of the march, changes will affect the following routes: bus routes No. 2, 11, 13, 24 and 30, tram routes No. 5, 6, 7, trolleybus routes No. 3, 19 and 24, as well as minibus routes No. 200, 224, 216, 236, 241 and 237;
- bus route No. 57 will be closed on July 12;
- trolleybus route No. 1 will be closed until the end of the march;
- During the march, the Retro tram will run by route „Radio Street – Mežaparks”. There will be also changes in the Retro tram’s schedule.
During the march of the festival participants, those passengers who have bought and use monthly tickets in bus, trolleybus and tram routes that will be changed can use these tickets on other bus, trolleybus and tram routes without registering their trips.

Night transport traffic will be organized in the night of July 10/11 and 11/12.
